AC Milan has quite a lengthy injury list to deal with currently. Alberto Aquilani, Alexander Merkel, Mathieu Flamini and Rodney Strasser are all unavailable due to knee problems. Antonio Cassano who is recovering from heart surgery and Gennaro Gattuso are both long term absentees. Mario Yepes just returned to training recently after recovering from a knee problem.

Arsenal has an almost full strength side to choose from. Per Mertesacker injured himself in a slightly bizarre incident against Sunderland. Arsene Wenger confirmed that Johan Djorou will slot in for his injured centre-back.  Kieran Gibbs has returned after a lengthy lay-off. Andre Santos and Jack Wilshere have still not returned from their injuries.
